Written by Peter Ahye

We’re excited to share the news that Hexagon Consultants has developed and trialled a digital twin model for Network Rail High Speed and HS1, alongside our long-standing partners over at Aerogility

As reported by Engineering Update, Transport & Logistics Magazine, Rail UK, New Civil Engineer and The Civil Engineer, the Network Rail High Speed team appointed Hexagon Consultants and Aerogility to demonstrate how digital twin technologies can make rail operations, maintenance, renewals and inspection more efficient.

Sue Williams, Managing Director at Hexagon Consultants, said: “It has been fantastic to work with Aerogility on this project to effectively prove how a best practice concept devised for the aerospace sector can be successfully transferred and tailored to an alternative industry.”
